Marbella is also known for its vibrant nightlife, which is why it attracts so many holidaymakers. There are many bars, clubs and pubs in the town, each offering something else for the party-goers. Marbella’s best known clubs include Pangea, Olivia Valere and Tropicana. These clubs are known for their high energy air and music, and are perfect for night owls.
Another good reason to visit Marbella is its rich social heritage. The city is home to a number of exhibition halls and works of art, including the Gallery of Contemporary Spanish Engraving, the Contemporary Art Museum of Malaga and the Picasso Historical Centre. These exhibition halls showcase works by the main artisans of the 20th and 21st centuries and are an extraordinary way to discover the city’s social heritage.
Marbella is also an incredible place to shop, with many boutiques and shops selling everything from ready-to-wear dresses to private creations. The city is home to a few shopping centres, including Centro Comercial La Cañada, one of the largest shopping centres in southern Spain. This shopping centre houses over 200 shops, restaurants and cinemas, making it the ideal place to spend a day shopping and entertaining.
Finally, Marbella is also an incredible place for outdoor exercise and sports. The city is surrounded by beautiful mountains that are perfect for climbing, trekking and horse riding. There are also almost 80 golf courses nearby, including the Marbella Club Golf Resort, one of the most outstanding fairways in Europe. These greens are perfect for both expert and novice golfers.
